Vessela received her B.Sc. in physics and applied mathematics from Nelson Mandela University (South Africa) and went on to complete an M.Sc. in geophysics from Uppsala University (Sweden). For the past 8 years she has worked in mineral exploration and consulting for a wide range of commodities across Southern Africa in projects such as: Zambian and Botswana copper belts, gold exploration across the Namibian Damara belt as well as West Africa, iron ore exploration in the Northern Cape (South Africa), and various groundwater and diamond exploration projects. She has experience in collecting, processing and modelling ground and airborne potential field data – integrating 3D geological models with airborne EM, magnetics and gravity datasets, as well as ground EM, IP, magnetics, gravity and GPR. For the past year, Vessela has been involved in processing and interpretation of airborne triaxial, EM and radiometricdata on various projects across Canada.
