Ty Magee is a mineral exploration executive and technical leader with over 10 years of academic and professional experience spanning greenfield target generation through resource-stage drilling and technical reporting. He currently serves as Vice President, Exploration at Axiom Exploration Group Ltd., where he leads the Exploration Division across North America and supports select international evaluations.

Ty has authored and supervised numerous NI 43-101 compliant Technical Reports and acts as a senior technical advisor to clients on exploration strategy, drill program design, data integration, QA/QC frameworks, and regulatory compliance. His experience spans porphyry, epithermal, intrusion-related gold, VMS, MVT, SEDEX, REE, pegmatite, and uranium systems across multiple jurisdictions.

He holds an M.Sc. completed in collaboration with the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS) and Greenland’s Ministry of Mineral Resources, focused on Pb-Zn exploration in west-central Greenland. Ty has a strong background in geological and geochemical modelling, multidisciplinary data integration, and workflow optimization. He was part of a team that achieved 2nd place in an international exploration competition in 2017 for innovative porphyry targeting in the Yukon-Tanana terrane.

His current focus includes strategic growth, generative exploration, property evaluations, M&A advisory support, and the development of efficient, scalable exploration systems within consulting environments.
