Ms. Mayra Zuniga earned her M.Sc. in Geological Sciences from the University of Saskatchewan in 2021. Currently serving as an Intermediate Geologist with Axiom Exploration Group, she is a registered Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) with Engineers & Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC). Mayra brings a strong professional background, having worked extensively across Western, Eastern, and Central Canada, as well as internationally. Her experience spans a range of exploration projects from grassroots to pre-mine feasibility, covering commodities such as sediment-hosted and orogenic gold, VMS copper–zinc–gold, among others.

She has developed particular strength in technical reporting and regulatory compliance, leading the preparation and compilation of Assessment Reports and other government filings in accordance with provincial requirements. In addition to her reporting expertise, Mayra is proficient in project management, exploration program execution, 3D geological modeling, core logging, geological mapping, prospecting, data interpretation, and analysis. She is well-versed in industry-standard software, including QGIS, Leapfrog, and ioGAS, and is recognized for her detail-oriented and structured approach to technical documentation.
