Janaya attended the University of Saskatchewan where she got her B.Sc. from the College of Agriculture, majoring in Environmental Science and minoring in Soil Science with a Certificate of Sustainability in 2022. She is currently an Articling Agrologist with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists.
