Max has a B.Sc. in Geology and Geography and a Certificate in Sustainability from the University of Regina. He is a registered GIT with APEGS and has project management experience leading field crews and small drill programs and has done both grassroots exploration drilling and advanced stage infill drilling,

Max has worked on a variety of projects and commodities including gold, VMS, uranium, sediment-hosted copper, and pegmatite-hosted rare metals (LCT lithium-tantalum-cesium bearing pegmatites). He spent many summers (including when he was a student) field mapping, prospecting, and performing geochemical sampling of soils, vegetation, and rocks. He has also worked on new claim/land research and acquisitions, data interpretation and analysis, assessment reporting and compilation, and QGIS.
